My ferret has a tiny bit of bright red blood in the poop?

unless there is red dye in his food (I've seen some ferret foods that have dye in them) I would probably take him to the vet. He may have eaten something sharp that scratched his insides ( its good that is not tarry but still scary), and honestly it could be anything. I'd take him to the vets asap just to be sure!
