Can you please explain to me what's up with this guy?

Guys can be so confusing sometimes. I have also learned this. It sounds like he could be protecting his rep...or he wants to "mess" with you in the ways if you know what I mean. He seems to feel you in ways that he can so he can get as close to "doing things" as possible.
