Is there a male hero in history who never married?

I know there's Jesus, and maybe some prophets. I'm not sure. Besides them, is there any male in history who was a hero to humanity and never married. The only reason I ask this is because there are female heros who never married, but I can't think of male ones. Not even Gandhi was one.
