Quick Question About Sonnets!?

Can you combine two shakespearean sonnets to tell one story. Such as write a sonnet but then follow it with another sonnet continuing it? Also I seem to have a little trouble with the Iambic pentameter of a shakespearean sonnet such as figuring out the stressed and unstressed syllables so if you could give me advice on that I would appreciate it.
