When I picture these two, it with them sitting in front of a tv flipping through the channels, just looking for something to do. Well you know there are bad things going on all over the world involving cruelty to people and animals and you know you can't control or stop these things on a big scale. Myself I am not happy re the slaughter of the whales by the Japanese (and the Norwegians I think too?) . Anyway you care about all the horrible stuff that you see and hear about on the news etc. Maybe you need to get actively involved in animal rights issues or join a society for instance for the prevention of cruelty to animals (dogs in particular?). When a needle is stuck in my body, my brain releases a lot of endorphins to deal with it. This is not this unusual. I found out I get a "high" out of it. I eventually became a Red Cross Gallon member (8 units of blood). But you can only give blood every 56 days. You can give apheresis every two weeks. When you give blood, they take it out in like 20 minutes or 30 minutes. When you give apheresis, they put needles in both arms, pump the blood out, centrifuge it, and then pump it back in. It takes about three hours. Usually they take plasma, white blood cells or platelets. You have apheresis junkies who get high on it, and go every two weeks to donate. I just like the feeling of being d. Anyway, I am a practicing Roman Catholic. But I have some conflict with the Church over my lifestyle. Through the Church gvine, I found there was a Priest who would give confession, absolution and penance to ANY Catholic so LONG as the penance they chose was to give blood or apheresis. Just what I wanted to hear. So I get absolution for my lifestyle, and the only penance I have to do, is something I get a psychological "high" out of doing anyway. Anyway, the priest was giving me my absolution, and he mentioned that this kid in his parish had cancer, and she was the same blood type as me---A Positive. And would I go in, and see if my blood type was compatible with hers? She had leukemia and needed platelets. We were compatible. I gave her the platelets, and she got better. Small problem. She needs A LOT of platelets. And apparently, she needs a CERTAIN type of blood platelets within the A positive type. So I have gotten called three times after that, asking for platelets. I don't mind. I give anyway. One time it was sort of short notice and I parked in the hospital lot where (unbeknown to me) the family was in a minivan. I performed a quick physical action with another man when he dropped me off, which left no doubt as to my orientation and lifestyle. Well, the father is a fireman, and the mom is a nurse. And they are very, very conservative. And I make them, really, really uncomfortable. I think they would like to invite me to dinner, or someone like that, but I make their skin crawl. The father in particular, I think would like to thank me, but he just sort of grunts and says "Thanks a lot." while avoiding eye contact. I disgust him. Also I think he has issues because TECHNICALLY a certain group of people isn't supposed to give blood. I do anyway. The Red Cross has begged the Congress to get rid of that law. So I am sort of enjoying the fact that this bigot is being forced, for the sake of his daughter, to accept help from someone that he really despises. And I think he and his wife are feeling guilty that they just quickly shake hands and thank me and walk away. And this particular hospital really is a BIT of a drive, so they realize they are imposing on me, but they hate my lifestyle so much they can't bring themselves to be nice. The Mom, I notice, hugs everyone, the nurses, the doctors, etc. And thanks them profusely for helped her daughter. Then she gets all stiff and rigid near me and shakes my hand. I think that they feel guilty. So the last time I was there, after I made my three hour donation, I was getting up and the Dad sort of walked over and looked at the wall, and said, "I-want-you-to-know-we-are-really-gratef… He then turned and walked away. I told him to his back "Thanks, I'll think about it." Did he really mean it? Or was that just a polite nothing? Should I tell him that I would like a pair of Burris Binoculars? The cheapest ones are $169, one sale on the internet. Firemen and nurses made good money, right? Every time I have given platelets, it's a 40-45 minute ride one way, to the City of Duarte, and 2-3 hours in the chair. And they can't get anyone else to donate the platelets they need. What could ahve caused this?

So last night I was out and my dad lit a fire in the fireplace and let my 4 year old son jelp him with it. We don't have a proper freplace protection and my son was throwing in papers to the fire. This morning he woek up wheezing and was breathing quick and then would go onto coughing fits and start crying. I took him to the doc who then gave him a nebulizer treatment and then told me my son might have early signs of asth$a since my son isn't sick. So now I have to give him nebulizer treatments and prescribed singulair. What causes asthma? And could my sons helping with the fire yesterday caused this? What should I do if the night treatment doesn't help him sleep? This scares me so much bc it isn't something I have experienced before and nobody in the fam has asthma

yes i agree i have been through similar , complaints ignored, but the drugsno they give most of them are no good , I have recurring extremly disturbing nightmares because of their so-called wonder drug (Resiridone Consta) the best thing for me was getting off their drugs and talking about my problems with social workers and getting on a better diet and taking up exercise regularly. It has taken me about 2 and a half years to get where I am now and i don't stress out and have outbursts and carry my emotions in a controlled manner, I definetely think having a good social worker whom i called when i felt to talk was a big help. Is there a different type of primer i have to use when running PCR with genomic DNA compared to cDNA?

Im still in school but when i run a PCR, I normally isolate RNA first then RT to cDNA and run PCR with that. This time i isolated the genomic DNA from the sample and ran PCR using the beta-actin primer i always used. Dimers were faintly visible on my gel but nothing really came up like it normally would have or should have. I was told that when running PCR with genomic DNA, a different kind of primer had to be used; one that is specific to genomic DNA. Im confused as to why it would matter or if it matters at all.

So I want one of my characters to be good with weapons. But I don't know much about weapons. Ford People: Whats wrong with my truck?

The last few days the battery light has been flickering on and off. When I give the truck gas, the light stays on constant or it stays off constant. When I let off the gas and it is in idle, the light flickers. On the way back from town today, I was at a red light and I noticed all the dash lights and CD player flickering and the clock on the CD player was going on and off. The truck nearly died at the red light on me and after I turned off my headlamps, heat and stereo the truck ran good enough to get me home. Once home, I turned all of those things back on and the truck died. My guess is the alternator is out or bad because once the motor was off, the lights still worked off of batter power – although they were not fully illuminated. While i had the issue in town, all lights like gas gauge lights, speed needle etc., were jumping for flashing. A few days ago i had a sore throat. My sister had strep throat, but i dont think i had strep throat because when i ate, my throat stopped hurting for a while, since all the drainage got washed down. But preparation is the key to coping with winter. Making sure that your vehicle is tuned up in the fall and ready to handle the cold temps. Having your furnace serviced in the fall so that it is in good shape. Getting the snowblower ready for winter. Etc. Once you've done all that , you should be in good shape for winter.

I have been experiencing pms symptoms all week and am expecting my period today june 3rd. Since yesterday i have been taking painkillers (Aleve) for pain. ok so i am trying to save a book from my cl to the computer. it was originally a pdf and i am trying to save it in office. but when i paste it into office it has a bunch of half page sentances then its like the enter on was pushed becasue the rest of the sentace is on the next line but the first word is underlined with the green line telling me to edit grammer. arghh so i had to manually go back and hit backspace then space bar b4 every line. this way it would be entire paragraphs rather than short mini sentances. i know there has to be a way to edit it non manually. i tried pasting only text, tried pasting into notepad heck i even tried posting it to my facebook thingy to see if that would take out the indentions but nothin is working. it took me hours to do the first few chapters and i have tonnnns to go. someone plese help, if you know any thing please let me know .. thanks

I'm so tired all the time - how can I beat it?

Despite getting plenty of sleep at night I feel so tired during the day. People have told me to cut out caffeine and sugars but I feel even worse without them as my body 'crashes' and I have energy crisises. People have also suggested doing exercise but I just have no motivation or energy to do anything. I've put on a bit of weight (about half a stone) despite not changing my eating habits or behaviour, am really super constipated, keep waking up in the night needing to pee but apparently having an almost empty bladder, keep waking up in the night shivering with cold but drenched (sometimes to the extent where I need to dry off with a towel and change my pj's) in sweat. I feel so utterly run down and really want some help/ advice please. Has anyone else experienced anything similar??

My dentist recommends I get enough calcium for my teeth, but how exactly does calcium benefit my teeth? I realize that enamel and dentin are largely made of calcium, but then I hear that dietary calcium doesn't actually travel to the teeth to make them stronger. Or does it? The enamel is practically "dead" tissue, and the dentin is mostly dead too. Only the pulp and nerves of the tooth and the gums are alive. I do realize that fluoride helps make tooth enamel stronger though, and use fluoride toothpaste and ACT for this.

Why would you want a judicial clerkship after law school?

Looks good to future employers. You can get paid while not yet being licensed. You get to know what lawyers that practice in that court are good and which ones are idiots. You get intimately familiar with a few areas of law. You get more experience writing than you would otherwise. You might end up with a lifelong friend. I have clerked twice. The second time, that judge became a great friend. Even though I now leave thousands of miles away, he comes to see me a couple times a year and likewise travel to see him. As there is at least some possibility that he may end up as governor, that is a nice friend to have. The first judge I clerked for ended up as the boss of a huge federal agency and he asked me to come along with him as a sort of chief of his legal staff. I declined but it was still pretty cool.

Around 4 years is the oldest I've seen and it's so ridiculous looking to me! There's no point for a child that age to have one and it damages the alignment of their teeth in the process. My 3 kids all used pacifiers and all of them spit them out for good by the time they were 6 months old.

How do i introduce a new rabbit ?

I would recommend not putting them in the same cage. Pet stores tell people rabbit do good in pairs to sell more rabbits. Yes, they can bond, but a 5 year old female is not wanting to be social with a rabbit she doesn't know. They do best alone. You could put their cages next door to each other so they can visit but they won't be a threat to each other. Female rabbits can be just as territorial as males and can hurt each other pretty bad.
